Ab dem Berichtsjahr 2025 müssen praktisch alle SAP-Anwender einen Nachhaltigkeitsbericht liefern und dies mit entsprechenden Datenerhebungen auch belegen können. Ein Bestandteil daraus ist der Product Carbon Footprint (PCF).

Diese Beratungslösung soll zeigen, wie sich dieser aus den bestehenden Stamm- und Bewegungsdaten errechnet und dies mit SAP-Standard-Bordmitteln ohne zusätzliche Lizenzierung o.ä. funktionieren kann. Dieser erstreckt sich vom Einkauf, über die Kalkulation, über das SD-Modul hin zur Warenauslieferung und Faktura.

Diese besteht rein aus der Vorgehensweise sowie Release-sicheren User-Exits im CO-PC-Bereich (entwickelt in SAP ECC 6.0 EhP5 und portiert nach S/4HANA 2022) als auch deren Weiterverarbeitung in der CO-PA / CO-MA.
