In diesem eintägigen, praxisorientierten Workshop lernen SAP-Entwickler das RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) von Grund auf kennen – den strategischen Entwicklungsstandard für SAP S/4HANA. Ausgehend von der Einordnung im SAP-Technologiestack arbeiten sich die Teilnehmer Schritt für Schritt durch alle zentralen Bausteine: von der mehrschichtigen Datenmodellierung mit CDS Views, über die Implementierung von Geschäftslogik mit Validierungen, Determinations, Draft Handling und Actions, bis hin zur fertigen Fiori-Elements-App mit eigenem OData-Service.

Als durchgängiges Übungsszenario dient das bewährte SAP Flight-Datenmodell. Jedes Thema wird zunächst in der Theorie erklärt und anschließend direkt in den ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse am System umgesetzt. Am Ende des Tages steht eine vollständig funktionsfähige Business-App, die die Teilnehmer selbst gebaut haben.
